I should be studying now but instead I watched the last episode of Romeo x Juliet and...



Now back to my endless homework. Actually, I'm trying to finish the homework so I can study for exam. Which means just because I finished homework doesn't mean the studying will end. Isn't that sad? haha. That's college for you.

It's not exactly translation but detailed summary of what happens. I got sick and tired of Knightus being harassed for translation of the new file so until it comes, be satisfied with this and stop harassing Knightus please. I'm greatful of the weekly scans so this is the best I can do to help out a bit...

Edit: Just so you guys know... I'm not accusing everyone who reads this of harassing Knightus, just wanted to make that clear ;)

 

My dear friends, you may have noticed that I have not been on LJ for a very long time.... pretty much all this summer. I worked all summer and bunch of other stuff were happening and it resulted in my abandonment of my LJ. Now my summer work is about to be done, but another "work" has come up.

College.

With college, I think I would have even less time, and quite honestly I have no idea how much time I'll have online.  So I'm going to put my LJ in hiatus (it was sort of in unofficial hiatus this summer) . I might randomly pop up occasionally to say hi :)

If you have written message to any of my previous posts and I didn't reply, I deeply apologize.

Wish me luck for my 1st semester ;)

P.S. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows rocked. It's probably my favorite HP book... actually, I can't decide between this  book and Prisoner of Azkaban... though choice!  I got the book at midnight on the 21st and finished it the same day, hehe. There was rather large pile of tissues by the time I finished reading. No book ever made me cry so much...and I loved every bit of it.

Oh boy... my username, yes.... well back in elementary school, bunch of girls decided to form this group where they were an animal and had another name. I was part of it and I made myself to be a cat named Mina. Since then, I've used the name "Mina" as username forums and such and I figured it would be good to keep it in LJ too. Unfortunatley Mina was already taken on LJ, so I just added "nya" at the end because that's the sound a cat makes when it meows, in Japan at least.

That's pretty much it. Now that I think about it, my story is kind of like wao's... sort of...

Listening to the advice from m_ka55, I decided to edit the color of the smoke in the coloring I posted. Here's the moditifed version:

Whoo-hoo! I finished another coloring, which I haven't done in a loong time.
I have my likes and dislikes about this one but... I dunno, comments please?



I'm definitely going to make a wallpaper out of it... and who knows, might change it to be my new LJ wallpaper...

and I would like to dedicate this coloring to m_ka55 because she's the one that got me into TRC in first place :)

And of course, original pic is not mine, it's Clamp's, I just colored it for fun :)

EDIT: Back to original post. The random post I had was to replace the original post because.... well, I don't know why I took it down.... but there:

I wrote a poem inspired by my background of LJ (Sakura from Tsubasa looking up at the sky. I colored that by the way )

Here it is:

広き空

見上げる瞳

探し続ける

雲隠し青空

(I think that'st what I wrote in the original post... 色さん, please do tell me if it seems to be different)

Rough translation:

Wide sky
Eyes look up to it
And keep on searching
For the blue sky hidden by the clouds

I needed more space on my computer so I put all my Iroha images in CD and then deleted them from my computer...

then I realized that for some reason, the CD copied only small part of the images!!

All the screencaps, all the wallpapers...all the imanges...

gone...

I was recently volunteering at the library. I was resorting out videos and DVDs at the children's section.
A mother with young children come by and start looking at the DVDs. Then one of the children start to wander toward the video cassett section.
And this is what the mother said(not exact, but roughtly):
"We can't rent anything from that section, we don't have VCR to play it with."

Maybe it's just me but I found this very amusing. Just few years back, DVD player was so much more rare...  now it seems it's the VCR that's more rare.

Times are really changing, aren't they? (that makes me sound like an old person... XD)

Out of pure random coincidence (or was it a hitsuzen? ;) ), I came across Nube on youtube. First the OP and then some of the early episodes.

Wow.

It really brought back memories...  and now I finally realize why I found Dark's voice from DN Angel familiar, or Scar from Hagaren, Byakuya from Bleach, or Rabi from D.Gray-man.

That's because the seiyuu of Nube, Okiayu Ryotaro did them all.

I want to rewatch the whole series now... too bad that's not available T_T

I finally read that series... Well, actually, I've only read up to middle of volume 5, but I cheated and reach the last volume...
